Pencils - we all need pencils. In an assortment of colors of course. When I was a little girl, I loved to color and draw a lot too. I think my mother and father brought me home a new box of 64 Crayola Crayons or a new box of colored pencils every few months, and a new coloring book every time they went to the grocery. I was spoiled, let me tell ya, really spoiled as a child. I was the youngest and the only girl - was it any wonder? Maybe that's why I've always been so needy. Just reflecting here. Just so you know, though, I'm needy in other ways than with tangible things. I prefer the hugs, the kisses, the occasional flowers or love letter. I love the foot rubs and the back scratches and the head rubs. I like to be cared for when I'm sick. I'm such a lush. Jewelry? Naah. Clothes? Naah (as long as I'm dressed and comfortable I'm happy). But pencils, paints, crayons, easels, canvas, charcoal, brushes, pastels, tables, sewing machines, more tables - Lord have Mercy on me I am a creative disaster. And that is what I need - anything that lets me create.
So, on the 3rd day of Christmas (In our 21 days of Christmas giving here on Red Easel), my true love gave to you ...
Caran d'Ache Round Box Gift Set of 40 Supracolor Pencils
Aren't they pretty? Just think how nice they'll look in your studio! What I like is how easy they are to pick up from this pencil box. These Supracolor pencils are packaged in a round, scarlet box and contain an excellent luminance/opaqueness ratio in a wide range of colors to captivate all those who love drawing and water coloring.
Their thick, soft, watersoluble leads are suitable for all drawing techniques, and can be used dry or applied with a moist brush to offer unlimited possibilities for blending and combining with other media.
I don't know about you, but I can never have enough colored pencils. Maybe I just never grew up, but I love to color.
