A self taught artist Lorna was born in Dunedin in the South Island of New Zealand, and has been passionate about her art from an early age. Bringing up a family of three and working full time Lorna’s art took a back seat; however she is now able to devote herself to her art and paints full time. Lorna captures the quintessential New Zealand in her acrylic landscapes, traveling far and wide to capture the energy and magic of the land, not an easy task in a country where every bend in the road offers an opportunity for yet another master piece. She will soon be working on paintings inspired by a recent trip to Alaska and Canada.
